Rashes

Senior woman touching her elbow itching

Rashes can be worrying as well as uncomfortable and sometimes unsightly.

There are many types of rash and many go away by themselves.  However others persist and can become uncomfortable, needing treatment.

Professor Jolliffe will diagnose your rash and will suggest a treatment plan.  She is particularly sympathetic when rashes become unsightly or embarrassing and is happy to see patients without a GP dermatology referral.

In addition to seeing a wide range of patients with general dermatological problems she has developed considerable expertise in recognising and managing dermatoses in patients with skin of colour. She also has experience in managing patients with difficult acne or who need systemic treatments.
